About the PrincipalDr. Shrikant Kallurkar is the Principal of Atharva College of Engineering since 2013. He is B.E Mechanical Engineering, M.M.S. and Doctorate in Industrial Engineering from NITIE.

Achievements :

o Selected as NAAC auditor*

o Published more than 125 papers at International and National level Journals, Conferences and seminars with 202 citations, h-index 9 and i10-index 7.

o Guided 21 Ph.D. Candidates including one International candidate.

o Executed 2 R&D Projects in Entrepreneurship development, funded by AICTE & MHRD , Govt. of India.

o Recognized as Research Guide for BIT Ranchi, Pune University, SRTM University, Nanded, SGB University, Amravati Dr.BAM University, Solapur University, Pacific University Udaipur etc.

o Auditor Mentor in TEQIP-III for World Bank MHRD Project at various colleges like BVB COE Hubli, Govt College of Engineering Bilaspur,NIT Rourkela, SVNIT Surat.

o 3rd International Conference on “Innovative and Advanced Technologies in Engineering (ICIATE-2019) on 28th & 29th March 2019 . Theme: “Digital Transformation”.

o 5 teams from Atharva got selected for the Grand Finale of SIH and participated in the competition at different nodal centers located in Noida, Coimbatore, Calicut, Tiruchirapalli and Surathkal.

o This time from Atharva College of Engineering, total 5 teams got selected for the grand finale event of Smart India.

o Hackathon-2019 out of which 2 teams won the competition under complex problem Statement of rupees one lakh each as a winning prize.9

o IEEE TECHITHON is the annual inter-collegiatetechnical festival at Atharva College Of Engineering.
