Introduction & Profile

For over half a decade, Pollux Marine Services has been operating through its associate

companies Shiv Shakti Pvt Ltd and BVM Marine Pvt Ltd for its commitment to excellence in the

field of providing technical services for Marine and Captive Diesel Power Generation, Project

Consultancy for merchant marine vessels up-gradation, modification & retro-fitments as re-

quired by our clients and the manufacturing, servicing and maintenance of the rescue boat

launching appliances, rescue boats and fire-fighting installations on board merchant vessels.

Pollux Marine has always strived to be a frontrunner in providing solutions for repair of Large

Diesel Engines, Propulsion Systems & New Installations of all makes.

With the objective of achieving world standards in this field, Pollux Marine Services was founded

by technocrats, specialized in the business of technical services pertaining to marine industry.

Pollux Marine Services has facilities and is equipped with state-of-the-art machines, sourced /

tied up from leading manufacturers, worldwide & is fully equipped with the latest repairing and

testing equipment’s. Our customized services coupled with trained service engineers and

technicians provide a total solution for the specialized repairing with minimum downtime & all

type of non-destructive tests are being carried out with special calibrated.

The jobs undertaken by us are executed by our Engineers who are fully trained and having good

work experience in all kinds of inspection, repairs and reconditioning work. Our modern

technological tools and highly precise instruments are periodically calibrated as a routine practice.

Fabrication & Machining jobs at workshop.

Overhauling & Repairs of all types of pumps, valves, electrical motors, coolers, air

conditioning and refrigeration jobs.

Overhauling and routine maintenance of Main Engines, Auxiliary Engines, Thrusters,

Shafting and Aqua master works.

Key works and Expertise

Our team has hands on experience on the on renewal of critical parts like crankshaft,

Bearings etc. We have successfully undertaken such jobs on Yanmar & Rolls Royce Engines

(Bergen).

The team has undertaken the complete overhaul of Cummins, Bergen, MAK and Caterpillar

Make engine

In our endeavor to provide total solution to the clients as one scope solution, we have in

house team embers to attend to the control systems of the vessels and diesel engines of

the various makes.

We further undertake the calibrations, reconditioning, NDT test and MPI test through our

trade partners

As an added service to our key customers we provide PMS solutions as a back up to their

office based PMS to monitor timely attendance of the vessels for the maker recommended

overhauls and routines.

The Team:

The team is led by experienced professionals having a strong mechanical and marine

engineering background. The senior management has vast hands on experience spanning

over two decades with some of the leading engineering company’s e.g. Kirloskar, Wartsila

and Cummins; also, with leading ship management companies of the world. They have also

headed the services teams in some of the leading Indian offshore companies to carryout and

oversee key repairs, retro-fitments / up-gradations, client representations and surveying.
