Letter Writing Pour sand, rice, or salt onto a cookie sheet and practice writing letters.
Letter TracePrint the downloadable letter sheet on the next page and have your child trace each letter with a highlighter or crayon.
Story Go Round Make up a cooperative story by letting each person add one sentence. Start with characters and a simple plot, like “a dog and cat went to the beach,” and let the children take it from there. The sillier, the better! You can also use these great Story Retelling Cubes for inspiration!
Learn to Read with BOB BOOKS® and VersaTiles®: Beginner ReadersIntroduce letter sounds with this set by adding on more and more letter sounds until your child has learned the alphabet!

Take a Breath BoardsPrint the following 2 pages and have your child use their finger to follow the breathing patterns—inhale, exhale, or pause.
Paper PuppetsUsing brown paper sacks, make different puppets using a variety of craft supplies. Then put on your very own puppet show!
How Do I Feel TodayUsing paper plates, have your child draw a different face on each one. Cut out the eyes and mouths to represent different emotions: sad face, happy face, silly face, mad face. You can staple rubber bands onto the back of the plates so your child can wear them! You can also use the See My Feelings Mirror to help make learning and understanding feelings fun.
