Practical steps to launch your practice: Once students are ready to practice and counsel clients (some begin even

before becoming certified), Maurice offers guidance and references for building a website, promoting services, networking, and managing clientele. Such guidance is part of the upgraded Cycle Eight program, offered to support and boost your professional development.

Certified students become candidates to speak at Astrology conferences that Maurice organizes in the US

and around the world. Maurice also recommends certified students to other conference organizers to help students break into the conference circuit.

Program Content Detail Segments

Segment 1 – Evolutionary Levels of Consciousness & Everything about the Nodal Axis

In the first segment, we define the progressive levels of the soul's evolution and identify how the same chart can express itself differently through the various evolutionary stages. It is absolutely essential to understand these dynamics in order to accurately analyze a chart and provide effective counseling.

The Nodal Axis of the Moon: the transcendence of duality. In the birth chart, the Nodal Axis portrays the core emotional and evolutionary needs of the soul. It is a relatively simple equation that is incomparable in its precision and depth. We will explore the classic archetypes of the Nodal Axis, as well as its particularities when planets form aspects to the axis and alter its regular progression (an understanding that provides a rich perspective on the nature of the soul incarnated and its evolutionary processes).

Segment 2 – Neptune: Timelessness meets Time & Space In Segment 2, Maurice presents his revolutionary perspective of Neptune, the 12th house, & Pisces. Neptune represents the beginning and ending of all things; thus, it contains the most preliminary needs and instincts as well as all clues about the highest potential of a being. The most basic codes and truths about life that eventually emerge through the rest of the zodiac are seeded in the Neptunian paradigm. The placement of Neptune in every house and sign will be discussed in order to understand the particularities of its influence. This material is unique and most fascinating!

Segment 3 – Uranus &Pluto Uranus and Pluto are the two outer planets that instigate progress and evolution towards the truth.

Uranus symbolizes our highest achievement as controlling beings and the peak of our intelligence and creativity that aims at dominating the play of life. We will explore this fascinating archetype to understand where we play God, and actually become Gods, at least for a while. Uranus represents the apex of humanity and its shadows!

Pluto represents the soul’s need to outgrow its own limitations, exposing the soul to its deepest weaknesses in order to change and heal; it represents the evolution of the emotional body. The recognition of limitations sometimes results from experiencing pain; thus, Pluto symbolizes all ways to overpower pain when working through our limitations.

Segment 4 – Chart Interpretation

It is now time to put insights into practice and learn to synthesize the chart elements in a cohesive and meaningful way. The more one practices on actual charts, the sharper one’s analysis becomes. In this segment, each participant prepares an analysis of the chart of another class participant. With Maurice’s guidance, both counselor and counselee gain tremendous insight as the chart magically comes to

lifea truly revealing and empowering experience. Usually between eight to ten charts are read, allowing participants to gain an understanding of their own chart and lives, as well as others. In the course of learning about chart interpretation, a portion of the study is dedicated to the study of aspects between planets.

Segment 5 - Relationships in Astrology - Sexuality, Synastry & Composite In Segment 5, we focus on the different dimensions of relationship dynamics. Why have two souls come together? What is the potential of a given relationship and the inclinations of the individuals involved? How do we create healthy and growth-related relationships? We

explore different relationship dynamics including emotional and sexual needs and identify compatibility in the chart. The segment includes the study of synastry (using double wheels to understand how the chart of one person interacts with the chart of another and identifying in such a way the meanings and purposes of their union and interaction) and composite charts (looking at the chart of the union to understand the expression of the union and its reasons for being).

Segment 6 - Transits, Solar Arc, Progressions

In this segment we begin by learning about the influence of transits using participants’ life events as examples to understand the technicalities as well as the karmic implications of life events. In addition, we also study important planetary pair cycles.

The following session s dedicated to the study of solar arc and secondary progressions, probably the most powerful predictive techniques existing! Solar arcs provide the insight to nail down precise occurrences in the life of a person. Our focus is on refining our skills to better identify significant themes in this context.

Segment 7 - Chart Analysis and Counselling Skills

The focus of this segment is about developing a sharper eye when analyzing birth charts and thus developing the capacity to identify core dynamics without excessive preparation before meeting a client. This includes the practice of “speed readings” where one is challenged to addresses chart analysis with progressively less preparation time.

Another chapter is dedicated to the psychology of counseling and ways to address client needs and different personalities, focusing on proper ethics, boundaries, and effective communication—to ultimately provide a deeply valuable reading for the client.

Participants are invited to do three readings with clients they have never met before. Provided that all the course requirements have been completed by then and that the three readings are successful, the student is then certified!

Workshops Saturn: Time & the Karmic Wheel We discuss the meaning of karma and the association of Saturn with the reality of time in the chart. Saturn is positioned in every house and sign to clarify these fascinating spiritual principles.

Medical Astrology: Physical and Mental Astrology is a powerful tool for preventive medicine—during this workshop we learn to associate astrological signatures with medical conditions and then discuss diets, treatments, and lifestyles that support health and preventive approaches.

Chiron: Humility of a Master Beyond any doubt, Chiron has proven its relevance in the chart. In this workshop, we discuss the evolutionary dynamics associated with this unordinary body and position it in every house and sign.

Retrograde Planets From Mercury to Pluto, reviewing the retrograde phenomenon in the natal chart and by transit sheds invaluable light on evolutionary dynamics.

The Ascendant A fresh perspective that helps one understand the dynamics of the Ascendant sign through the intrinsic association with the sign that opens the 12th house cusp.

Planetary Nodes While tremendous emphasis is rightly put on the Nodal axis of the Moon, it is useful to realize that all planets have a nodal axis. We will explore the important evolutionary dynamics of the planetary nodes on a personal and then a collective level.

Asteroids and newly discovered Planetoids We explore Ceres, Eris, Makemake, and Haumea—new kids on the block!
