Mac & Windows: Google Chrome Plugin Installation Guide

1. Launch the Chrome browser from your computer

2. Open a new tab and key-in the following URL - https://astrogo.astro.com.my/

3. Login with a valid Astro ID and password

4. Choose any movies or TV Shows that you are entitled to. For example, select “Moana” (shown

below) and click on ‘Play’ button.

5. There will be a pop-up requesting to install the plugin and extension. Select ‘Install Player

Extension’ first. Follow thru the following steps below to complete the installation.

6. When the pop-up appears as below, click on ‘Add to Chrome’

7. Click on ‘Add extension’.

8. After selecting ‘Add extension’, there will be a pop-up message to show that extension is successfully added.

9. The AOTG Chrome Plugin Helper is successfully installed. Make sure it is ‘Enabled’ in settings (the Enabled box will be checked). You can verify by key-in this URL at the Chrome browser – ‘chrome://extensions/’

10. After successfully adding extension, select ‘OK, got it’ to exit the pop-up.

11. Click again the play button on the content. The installation pop-up will show again but this time, select ‘Download Player Plugin’.

12. The plugin will be downloaded. You can see the pop-up appearing at the bottom left corner of the Windows desktop. After the download complete, click on the icon in the pop-up.

13. After successfully downloading the player plugin, launch the plugin executable file and follow by clicking on ‘RUN’ to start installation. Wait for the installation progress to complete. Note: Please make sure all browsers are closed before executing the plugin installation.

14. After the plugin, successfully installation. Restart the browser and you may start playback on the desired content.

Mac: Safari Plugin Installation Guide

1. Launch the Chrome browser from your computer

2. Open a new tab and key-in the following URL - https://astrogo.astro.com.my/

3. Login with a valid Astro ID and password

4. Choose any movies or TV Shows that you are entitled to. For example, select “Polis Evo”

(shown below) and click on ‘Play’ button.

5. There will be a pop-up with an option to download Player Plugin. Click on ‘Download Player

Plungin’

6. Click download folder and choose the plugin in download folder, Click on the

‘BrowserPluginInstaller’.

7. If the following security pop-up is seen, please enabled the plugin in the system preferences

(follow step no.8 below). Click ‘Ok’.

8. Select ‘System Preferences’

9. Click on ‘Security & Privacy’

10. Select the lock Icon to make changes and followed by keying in the Mac login and password to

unlock.

11. Select ‘Allow From Anywhere’

12. Click ‘Open’ button

13. Quit Safari before installing. Click the “safari” tab at the of top page and click on “Quit Safari”

at the drop down menu

14. Click on ‘Install’ button.

15. Click ‘Close’ button after installation is successful.

16. Launch Safari browser again and select the desired content to start playback.

Windows: Mozilla Firefox Plugin Installation Guide Note: The Astro GO supports only Firefox 32 bits.

1. Click on Mozilla Firefox

2. Open a new tab and open this link - https://astrogo.astro.com.my/

3. Login with valid Astro ID and password

4. Choose any movies or TV Shows that you are entitled to and click on ‘Play’ button.

5. There will be a pop-up with an option to download Player Plugin. Click on ‘Download Player

Plungin’

6. Messages will pop-up. Select ‘Save File’.

7. After selecting ‘Save File’, a pop-up message will appear, click on icon (at top right

corner of the browser).

8. Select ‘voBrowserPlugin_license_non_chrome’

9. There will be a message pop-up, select ‘Run’.

10. Select ‘Yes’ for the next installation process.

11. A message will pop-up stating there is a need to restart the browser after installation. Click on

the “OK” button. Wait for the installation progress to complete.

12. After the installation process is completed, open Mozilla Firefox and click to access the

drop-down menu

13. Click on ‘Add-ons’.

14. Select ‘Plugin’.

15. Search for “npvoBrowserPlugin Dyanamic Link Library” plugin and click “Always Active”.

16. Restart the browser and select any content to start playback
