Analyze Learner

Teaching parts of the digestive system to 4th graders. There are 20 students 10 girls and 10 boys. There are 8 African American, 2 Chinese, and 10 whites.

State Objectives

My students will describe parts from the mouth to the stomach in small groups to the class and review what we have learned so far this week with 95% accuracy by the end of the day.

Select Methods Media and Materials

Students will use YouTube and their books to review material and learn more materials about the digestive system.

Utilize Media and Materials

Students will review the digestive system song. Student will break up into small groups and research a part of the digestive system that I provide and then present it to the class. They will then take a short quiz.

Require Learner Participation

I will ask students will be asked questions at the end of class to review what they learned so far as well as what they learned that day.

Evaluate and Revise

I will evaluate my students by making sure my class participates in classroom activities. I will also review the material as we go through it and give feedback on their presentation. I will also review their short quiz to make sure they are understanding the material.
