The Assistant Governor's (AG) is the representative of the District Gov-
ernor (DG) and acts as a liaison between the Governor, District Staff
and Club. The AG will assist in preparing President-Elects (PE) for
their year. This includes pre-PETS, PETS and District Assembly. Once
the Rotary year starts. the AG will help the clubs achieve their club and
district goals. The AG will:
1. Promote:

The Ignite Membership Program as District Membership
Advisor
The Rotary Foundation…giving and programs
PolioPlus and March to End Polio Event
Million Meals Campaign
Foundation Gala, Presidents' Advance, District Conference
District Membership and Foundation Workshops 2. Assist clubs with entering their goals on www.Rotary.org - Rotary
Club Central (RCC).
3. Encourage Club Presidents in your area to form a Presidents' Council
with neighboring clubs to collaborate and partner.
5. Assist club leaders in planning for the District Governor’s official visit
and board meeting. Contact the club president one week prior to con-
firm time, location and availability of club board members. Ask about
significant club issues and any awards /inductions or other activities
the DG may need to preside. Attend both meetings.
7. Contact Club Presidents at least monthly. Attend at least one board
meeting per club each quarter. 8. Report potential club problems to the Executive AG.
9. Provide extra assistance and resources to struggling clubs.
10. Attend District Staff meetings. Report on problems and proposed
solutions.
11. Submit a minimum of three interim Club Evaluation Reports by the
due dates to the District Governor. Submit Memo of Club Visit by
May 15 (final report) and rate clubs on RCC.
12. Attend District Functions and Seminars including: Membership and
Foundation Workshops, Foundation Gala, Presidents' Advance, AG
Training and District Conference. At club meetings, announce and
encourage attendance to these functions as well as the RI Convention. 14. Meet with your successor to review each club and transfer your files
for each club. Keep records on each club in a file to be passed on to
your successor.
15. Be Positive, pro-active and supportive.
