Re: Assignment of Notifications to Orders
Maria João Paulo Rocha It is not possible to link one notifications to several orders but it is possible other way round, severalnotifications can be assigned to one order. Logic behind this is, Notification is used to Notify what work is required and based on that decision istaken about work planning and same planning related to operations and spares requirement isimplemented in a single maintenance order.

Hence many notifications(or informations) can be linked to one maintenance order. Also, please request you to share us your scenario where we would give some feedback. Hope this helps. Chin2.

Re: Assignment of Notifications to Orders
Hi, Thanks. We use one specific type of notification to register the outstading work and associate to amaintenance order (wich as several operations). Then the order is closed but the work of thenote was not executed, so it is necessary that at the next visit to the workshop include the samenote (at the new order). Regards,Maria João Rocha

Re: Assignment of Notifications to Orders
Hello Instead of Closing the whole Work Order,Use User Status at Work Order Operation Level. So You can keep Work Order till last Operation reached to Closed status and Go for TECO ofWork Order. BrRakesh

Re: Assignment of Notifications to Orders
Think of assigning your Notification to one Order which then will have several sub Orders.

Re: Assignment of Notifications to Orders
Maria João Paulo Rocha In that case, you should not assign the notification to multiple orders instead try to use theRevision No concept where you can club up the maintenance notifications and orders with acommon revision number. Revision number can be created using OIOB transaction and is to be simply assigned tonotification and order. You can find the revision field in Order header screen as well as notification header screen. Also keep in mind to keep notification open when you close the order. hope this helps. Chin2. (Answer Suggested by RAKESH MANE is also valid) Message was edited by: Chintan Budhbhatti

Re: Assignment of Notifications to Orders
Hello Maraia, You may think of either of the following options too1. Have the Notification number in the field Sort Field of Location Tab of the Order.2. You can have a User field for maintaining Notification number in the Enhancement tab asexplained in this document IWO10018: User Fields in Maintenance Order After any of these, you can have your conditions (if any), for Updating, Releasing andCompleting the Orders by coding in the UserExits IWO10009, IWO10002, IWO10004respectively. (Obviously the codes will be based on Notification number field of the Order). Regards
