System Description

• Program designed to facilitate ease of traffic accident data into a database for storage.

• Able to enter it on scene via tablet PC or back at the station with a desktop machine

• Easy, intuitive menu driven program with multiple pages

Hardware/Software Specification

• Software has been designed to leave a minimal footprint and requires minimal computing power. Therefore, it requires at least a Pentium 1 class processor with 64 MB of memory.

• The program requires the use of the Windows Operating System (Minimum version 3.11)

Scenario

• The Officer is alerted to and arrives on the scene of a traffic accident. Using a paper accident form the officer gathers the required information to determine the cause of the accident. After returning to the station the officer submits this report to the station clerk who enters it into the electronic traffic information program.
