Go to Math Common Core Bank
• Look up on student’s schedule---what type of Math are they taking?
• Choose an appropriate goal from the goal bank. If you are not sure, ask a Math Teacher, like Mr. Tutor
• Adjust, edit, and reword the goal for the student. In most cases, it can be simplified.
Example: Student is a freshman taking Algebra 1. Go to Common Core
Math Goal Bank, in this case we choose Solving Quadratic Equations by
Factoring
You can also choose the same goal from the vertical menu displayed on the right
side of the page. If you prefer to use this format of listing Common Core goals,
it is there for you to use.
Under each Goal you will find differentiated goals. Choose the best level.
In this case, we are choosing the “Intense Level”, primarily because the wording of the goal is straight forward.
