Use maintenance strategy and assign packages to maintenance plan accordingly to the equipments call date. Strategy is like 3 mon / 6 mon / 1 yr etc. Only conflict is if your call date falls on any one of maintenance package then single maintenance plan is sufficient. In case if you have different call dates with diff maintenance cycles, then different maintenance plan is required. Hope you understood the concept. Prima facie this looks a simple case involving 5 Maintenance Plans , one for each Equipment.Cycle/unit 183 D with different Start of Cycle dates and Scheduling Indicator as Time. All theseplans will be having your same Tasklist. In this setup the plans will be triggering at different dates fordifferent equipments on the day of Start of Cycle Date + 183 Days. Is this the requirement? KJogeswaraRao

Re: Assign one task list to multiple equipments

Thanks Jogeswara, Yes, this is my requirement. In addition,I want to ask(please confirm) If I give call horizon as 100 with 183 day cycle, start ofcycle 3rd jan 2015, then my PM order will be created on 3rd Jan 2015 as per my maintenanceplan and second plan and order will be initiated after 183 days. Please confirm if I am right. Also, after setting up of my maintenance plan,do I need to give or run any other transaction tocreate PM order automatically for start date of 3rd Jan 2015 for equipment maintenance plan? Kindly suggest. RegardsSaurabh

Re: Assign one task list to multiple equipments

Hi, 1- Create General Task List(IA05) and assign strategy(IP11) with different packages likeQuaterly/Half year/Yearly.2- Create strategy based Maintenance plan(IP42) for all equipments.3- Define call Horizon as % , how much time there should be come before actual date.4- And start your maintenance plan(IP10) according to your last preventive date for all equipments.5- System will release your maintenance order according to your last preventive date as differentdates.

Re: Assign one task list to multiple equipments

1st partFor getting 1st call on 3rd Jan 2015, you need to give the start of cycle date 183days before that.

2nd partTcode IP30

Re: Assign one task list to multiple equipments

Thanks Jogeswara.I got it. With 2nd Part, If I run IP30, system says maintenance plan is scheduled but itdoesn't create any order, Is it because that on 3rd Jan 2015 the PM order willbe created automatically and IP30 is scheduling its creation? Please see thescreen shot:

Also, I want to know that Can I assign multiple equipment to this singlemaintenance plan by defining different equipment with different PM start date? RegardsSaurabh

Re: Assign one task list to multiple equipments

Yes !You need to run IP10 for individual plan on the date of call. Then the Callobject will be generated. IP30 is nothing but IP10 for group of orders. Soto avoid the botheration of running IP10 IP30 everyday manually, theBackground job is programmed, where Calls are automatically generatedif conditions satisfy. Hope this completes your queries

Re: Assign one task list to multiple equipments

Hi , I created General task list -> assigned it to a maintenance plan, now in 'call control parameter' Ihave following doubt in assigning call horizon : 1. PM start date are different for different equipment ( as 9th Jan. 2015 for one equipment and 12Jan 2015 for another), do I need to calculate manually the number of dates from now to enter callhorizon? or the field 'start of cycle' is enough for this purpose as I have predefined date when Iwant to start PM work for my equipment. 2. Can I assign multiple equipment to this single maintenance plan by defining differentequipment with different PM start date?Kindly suggest.(I think the answers to this is written in Mr. Jogeshwars's reply, Kindly confirm)RegardsSaurabh
