Framing Students Feedback

Questionnaire

Analysis

Overcoming measures to improve academic

performance

• Completed by 74 senior students of III and IV year

• Factors needed to improve the quality of performance

• Existing gap in the current teaching practice

• Modifying the teaching methodology according to the student’s feedback

• Study skills training

Feedback regarding teaching is an

important factor to improve the

existing teaching practice.

Study skills’ training is needed for the

students to realize their potential to

become successful.

The current teaching practice does not

include any special training to the

students who lack in study skills.

As there was poor performance in the

subject Biomechanics, there was a need

to analyze the reasons and implement

the corrective measure.

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

To identify the gap in existing

teaching practice and factors needed

to improve the quality of performance.

To modify the teaching practice

according to the need.

To identify what is lacking in the

student through study skills inventory .

To give study skills training for the

students who are lacking specific

study skills.

To evaluate the effect of study skills

training on the academic performance.

Feedback Questionnaire

- Content validity of the questionnaire was determined from Experts opinion.

- Reliability - Cronbach's Alpha = 0.71.

Study skills inventory

Internal Examination Marks

: Percentage Calculation for Study skills inventory.

Descriptive

: Paired “t” test for final evaluation.

Inferential

Existing gap in teaching practice

1.Lack of training in analysis of movement.

2. Lack of Integrated teaching

3. Inadequate use of videos.

4. Infrequent feedback regarding teaching.Continue study skills training till the end of academic year.
