• Gridded response

• Open response (can attach a rubric)

• Inline response

• Matching

You can attach any item type to a passage.

Try it! Create Items

• Create a few items

• Be sure to preview the test questions BEFORE you give the test to make sure they are showing up as intended!

Insert Images

• Do not paste an image; you must insert it as a file

• For peak online test performance, use sizes below 250KB

• Resize images before adding them

• Supported file formats: png, jpg, or gif

• Inserting a passage of text as an image is not recommended

• Be sure to preview the item

Equation Editor • Open the equation editor from the text editor

• Use the link to access additional equations and modify the syntax to change the font size

Create a Passage for Multiple Items

Rubric for Open Response Items

• Single or multidimensional rubrics

Process for Submitting and Approving

• Any user can submit an item, passage, or rubric to be shared

• Users who are permissioned to do so can approve content at their default institution
