Assembly- Dreams Don’t Work Unless You Do

It is rightly said that dreams don’t work unless

you do. Dreaming of success is not enough.

One needs to work on them to achieve success.

The learners of grade VI- Genius conducted

the morning assembly on the topic-

“DREAMS DON’T WORK UNLESS YOU

DO” on JULY 24, 2018. The learners enacted

two different stories to give a message that

hard work is very important in an individual’s

life and that one must put in a good deal of

hard work for a considerable length of time to

attain good results.

Without adequate effort we cannot get any result. For getting success in life, you need the

right attitude, self-discipline and the ability to put your goal before your own comfort and

leisure. The assembly was much appreciated by our Principal Ma’am, other teachers and all the

students. The response received by the students for sure confirmed that the important message

i.e. there is no substitute to hard work was well understood by one and all.

As they say you bring your own weather to the picnic, the parents brought with them, energy, cheer and happiness to the picnic which was organized by the management of ‘Mount Olympus School’ for the students, parents and teachers in the school premises on January 27, 2019. The school ground gave the parents their space to explore and engage in activities and competitions arranged by the school staff for them.

Fun, frolic and team-spirit rolled in when the parents participated with a healthy competitive spirit to win the title of ‘Champions’ for their respective teams. The ramp walk saw the creative side of the participants come alive with their magnificent performances and props made by them within a short span of time.

The parents and children participated with a similar contagious spirit in the dance Competition, Kite Flying and other sports activities. The winner team was awarded with gifts by our beloved Principal Ma’am Ms. Neeti C. Kaushik. The picnic lunch had the lovely season’s dishes on the menu, with the sweet treat, one of the winter favourites adding the final touch to the sumptuous meal. The jubilant spirits of all the people present at the picnic made the day worth a remembrance. The parents enthralled at the arrangements and could not hold back their excitement and happiness and voiced the fact that it had been by far one of the best picnic’s they had ever witnessed.

Report on Maths Olympaid

The learners of grade 6 had their first ‘Magic of Maths’ Friday Club Activity on 6th

April 2018. In this club activity we aim to prepare students for Olympaid exams. The

main objective of the club is to provide a unique competitive platform and identify

the young geniuses and create a talent pool for the future.

MANAGEMENT

GRADE VI- IX

Date:-11th April 2018

The learners of grade VI to IX of Mount Olympus School had an enrichment activity

on Wednesday, 11th April 2018 on the topic ‘NON BIODEGRADABLE WASTE

MANAGEMENT’.

The purpose of the enrichment activity

was to generate awareness among the

students towards the environmental

protection. The learners were shown a

presentation and had a class discussion on

different types of wastes, their

management and the need to separate the

biodegradable and non- biodegradable

waste.

As a part of the activity, the learners made a green and a blue dustbin for bifurcating

biodegradable and non- biodegradable wastes for their respective classes.

PEACE – RISE AND FALL OF HITLER

GRADEs VI- IX

The learners of grades VI to IX of Mount

Olympus School had an enrichment

activity on Wednesday, 11th July 2018.

The purpose of the enrichment activity

was to generate awareness among the

students regarding the life span of the great

dictator Hitler. They were shown a

documentary on Hitler's life right from his

childhood. A discussion was conducted

focusing about Hitler's oratory skills and

the cause for his downfall.
