Recertification

• 18 Units needed to recertify

• Units MUST be obtained within the 3-year certification period (document)

Timeline• All ASQ members can submit their recertification journal

packets to you up to six months before and/or after their expiration date; or called a ‘grace period’ after their expiration date. Anything submitted before the six months will be returned to the member and told to resubmit in the allotted time frame. Anything submitted after the six-month ‘grace period’ of their certification expiration date will be instructed on how to recertify by exam. Submitting recertification journals up to six months before the expiration date does not mean that the member must deduct six months of employment credit. That six month grace period before the expiration date is an ‘open window’ that is allowed for early submittal and full employment for the three year recert period may be taken, but any other activities must be completed before sending in their recert packet to receive RU credit(s).
