Realtime 3D is the most remarkable newcreative technology since oil on canvas. Itis much too important to be wasted oncomputer games alone. This manifesto isa call-to-arms for creative people(including, but not limited to, video gamedesigners and fine artists) to embrace thisnew medium and start realizing itsenormous potential. As well as a set ofguidelines that express our own ideas andideals about using the technology.

Dont make modern art. Modern art tends tobe ironical, cynical, self referential, afraidof beauty, afraid of meaning --other thanthe trendy discourse of the day--, afraid oftechnology, anti-artistry.

Furthermore contemporary art is amarginal niche. The audience is elsewhere. Goto them rather then expecting them to come tthe museum. Contemporary art is a style, agenre, a format. Think!

Do not fear beauty. Do not fear pleasure.

art form capable of communicating farbeyond the reach of modern art. Madeby artists far superior in artistry andskills.Game art is slave art.
