Welcome to the ASP Gallery's August e-newsletter (attached). This month we show you a glimpse of the Carriers Arms Hotel Motel redevelopment that's almost complete. We also give another tip for preparing for a portrait sitting and showcase some of the babies recently photographed in our Kent Street gallery. Also, selected display stock is being cleared at half the usual retail prices.TRANSCRIPT

…….. ANYONE who has had pho-tographs taken by former owner Ashley Smith over the past 10 years is still (mostly) able have them reprinted. While a small number of early photos were destroyed for storage reasons, about 95% are still on file. Copyright to all Ashley’s photos was included in the business sale. I now have sole ownership of the right to reprint or copy them.
SUBTLE changes have been happening at ASP Gallery since the ownership change-over in January and will continue to roll into place in coming months. One change is the introduction of this e-newsletter, which is designed to keep customers and interested people in-formed about promotions and special offers, to showcase customers’ favourite photos and give readers a glimpse of what’s happening around the region. All new customers and those
who have made enquiries are automatically subscribed but if you don’t want to receive any more, it is easy to unsubscribe. If you have received a previous newsletter and unsubscribed, but now have another, I apologise. You may have been inadvertently re-subscribed recently in the once-only merging of lists. Look at the Carriers now!
The Carriers Arms Hotel Motel’s latest facelift is almost complete. There are still a few finishing touches to add but it’s worth dropping into now for a look-see. The Maryborough venue, which also hosts weddings and conferences, has continued to operate throughout its 12-month trans-formation. More photos, page 3.

WHEN dressing for a portrait sitting, remember the photo is about you, more so than your clothes unless it’s a fashion
shoot, so wear something simple. More importantly, bring a great attitude because even the most flattering outfit
won’t help if you’re feeling glum. A good night’s sleep will also help eliminate bags or circles under your eyes.
