    Submissions

    Neurology Asia will publish manuscripts dealing with any aspect ofneurology. In addition to original articles, Neurology Asia will publish briefcommunications and case reports (up to 1,000 words), neuroimaginghighlights, and letters to the editor (up to 500 words). apers are acceptedon the understanding that they are original. !ditorials and re"iew articlesare published by in"itation. All manuscripts, including solicited materials,are sub#ect to editorial re"isions.

    Manuscript Preparation

    $ype on white paper, preferably A% (&0'1 cm) sie, with margins of atleast 5mm (1 in). $ype only on one side of the paper. *se double spacingthroughout. +egin each of the sections on separate pages title, abstractand -ey words, te't, ac-nowledgements, references, indi"idual tables andlegends.

    1. $he title of the article, which should be concise but informati"e

    . ull name or initials and surname of each author, with highestacademic degree(s) (not more than ) and institutional affiliation

    &. Name and address of author responsible for correspondence

    %. $he source(s) of support in the form of grants, e/uipments or drugs

    Abstract and Key Words

    $he abstract should be not more than 00 words. $he abstract should statethe purpose(s) of the study, basic procedures, main findings, and theprincipal conclusions. !mphasie new and important aspects of the study.ro"ide &10 -ey words or short phrases that will assist in crossinde'ing of the article. *se terms from the medical sub#ect headings list of Inde'

    $e't should be di"ided into the following sections Introduction, 2aterialsand 2ethods, 3esults, and 4iscussion. ong articles may need subheadings within some section to clarify their content. Articles such as casereports, re"iews, and editorials are li-ely to need other formats.

    References

    Number references consecuti"ely in the order in which they are firstmentioned in the te't. Identify references by Arabic numerals. $he titles of

     #ournals should be abbre"iated according to the style used in Inde'

    2edicus. 2anuscipts accepted but not yet published may be included inthe references6 designate the #ournal followed by in 7press8 (inparenthesis). Information from manuscipts not yet accepted for publicationshould be cited in the te't as 8unpublished obser"ations8 (in parenthesis).
