Getting Started: Asking the right
questions

How much help do I need?
I already have an idea, but I will
probably need more help than I
think.
I already have a Blackboard page
that I will be developing.

How do I like to teach?
I prefer small and large group discussions.
I use Youtube and other audio-visual
tools to make language learning more interesting.
There are a lot of resources online for learning French the fun way, so I use those as well.
I don’t lecture much, but do use
PowerPoint to explain grammar points and talk
about the French and Francophone
cultures.

How do I want things to be organized?
There should be one
folder per week, just like for our POT class.
I will be organizing
the weeks in Blackboard.
The first page should be a short
summary of the syllabus
and what students should
expect from the course.
Everything should be
linked, otherwise
will students get lost.
