What is an arachnid?
Arachnids are a class of arthropods! They are not insects. Insects are a different class of arthropods.
All arachnids have the following characteristics:• 4 pairs of legs (8 legs total)• Chelicerae and pedipalps • No wings or antennae
• Some groups have modified 1st pairs of legs that ACT like antennae.
