If you do need to print or have promotional materials produced, make sure they are made from eco-friendly sources. 4. Reduce carbon footprint To reduce your carbon footprint, we encourage you to take public transport to get to the fair venue. 6. Transparency is key Promote your company’s and products sustainability credentials – let visitors know what you are doing to support the fashion jewellery and accessories industry. 7. Be part of our community Take part in one of our events and build your presence in the fashion jewellery and accessories community at SEASONS | Spring. 3. Freight Sustainability Consider the impact of shipping stand materials; speak to our official freight forwarder about sending goods to the advance warehouse to reduce vehicle movement during the event. 5. Wellbeing of others Think about your team’s wellbeing and other stakeholders during the fair If you have any comments or suggestions about how we can make the fair more sustainable, or to let us know what projects you are working on, please contact Jordan Chan, Exhibition Services Manager, E: [email protected] This year, we are rolling out our Exhibitor Sustainability Guide, which contains suggestions and tips to building a sustainable fashion jewellery and accessories industry through what we do at our events. Please help us run the events responsibly, inspire others and build your community. When you liaise with a stand designer/contractor for the event, do you think about the following? • Can your stand be re-used at other events you attend? • How can the stand waste be minimised? • Are they aware of and compliant with Health & Safety regulations? • Do you know who the end-company building your stand is? Are they compliant with Health & Safety regulations? • Can you reduce the stand-build time by having a prefabricated build and save money? • How can you lower your environmental impact by checking on their shipping method/s?
