Singer Charice and Oprah My cousin Carding, like my other maternal cousins, is like a brother to me. We all grew up together in a cluster of houses on Pepin Street in Sampaloc, Manila, until my family moved to Quiapo when I was ten years old. We cousins would play day and night, especially during summer vacations. In the evenings, we would play patintero, tumbang preso, habulan taga, taguan and other games under the flickering light of the lamp post and the moonlight during a full moon. During the day, we boys would play teks, holen and eskrimahan, while the girls would busy themselves playing piko and bahay-bahayan. We were protective of each other. If a member of a neigh- boring clan, would harm any of us, the older cousins would protect us or even avenge the afflicted one. By Simeon G. Garci was caught on tape taking orders from Gloria who ordered him to manipulate the votes so she’ll win by more than one million votes over her oppo- nent. In an article written by Sheila S. Coronel, she de- scribed Garci as an expert in election fraud. She wrote: “Garcillano was an election technocrat, a career bureaucrat with specialized skills in a specific sphere of government.
