 Grade QT3:

Slow filter paper with highest efficiency for collecting very small particles such as barium sulphate, and cuprous oxide. 

Determination of Phosphatase activity in dairy products.  Determination of the amount of insoluble contaminants in animal and vegetable fats and oils.

Grade QT4:

Filtration of medium size precipitates. Determination of magnetic metal particulate and heavy filth in prepared meat.

Also use in the determination of the amount of insoluble contaminants in animal and vegetable fats and 

oils.

Grade QT5:

Medium speed filter for fine crystalline precipitates. Determination of fats and oils in water. General gravimetric analysis for many components in cements, soil, iron, etc.

Grade QT6:

Slow speed grade. Presents the same characteristics as QT3 but a little heavier.

Our extremely pure filter paper grades are made of pure cotton pulp. The ash content of our grades is of approximately 0.06%.

Grade 302:

Medium to fast filtration of coarse particulates. Of general use for qualitative analytical

separations for precipitates such as lead sulfate, calcium oxalate (hot), and calcium carbonate.

Soil analysis and seed testing procedures. Routine techniques to separate solid foodstuffs

from associated liquid or extracting liquid. Education grade for teaching simple qualitative

analytical separations.  

Grade 303:

Medium speed filter for the filtration of fine particles precipitates.

Determination of lipids. Qualitative analytical separations for precipitates

such as lead sulfate, calcium oxalate (hot), and calcium carbonate.

Soil analysis and seed testing procedures. Routine techniques in the food industry.

Grade 304:

Slower filter for medium to fine filtration. Higher load capacity. Combine the resistance given to thicker paper

with a good retention capacity. Available in pleated format for increased loading

capacity. Used in the determination of fat content or

removal of carbon dioxide and turbidity from beverages.

Grade 305:

Our slowest filter with the highest retention in the range of 1 to 2 μm.

Used in qualitative analysis of organic compounds such as residual sugar.

Refractometric analysis.

General Filtration

These papers are made of very pure cellulose with a high alpha cellulose content. The average ash content of these filter papers is 0.1% and can be used for ordinary qualitative filtration work. We recommend these filters for the general filtration work and sample preparations in most of the chemical analysis.

Features:

Wet strengthened for higher resistance to longer filtration time. For clarification of liquids. High alpha cellulose content. Low ash content (approx. 0.1%) Available in disc or pleated format for more capacity, surface and filtration speed. Available in three type of paper:

Glass Microfiber Filters

Our Glass microfiber filters without binders are made of very fine borosilicate fibers that confer to the filters a high efficiency rates even down into the submicronic range. Features:

Combine good permeability and high dirt holding capacity. Non-hygroscopic and biologically inert. Resistant to most solvents and reagents. Heat resistant up to 500 °C. Binder-free filters, especially suitable for water pollution control. High flow velocity and high efficiency for the retention of small and even smallest particles.

Our glass fiber materials are made of borosilicate glass bounded together by synthetic binders that confer to the filters a high efficiency rates. Recommended for atmospheric and water pollution control.

Features: Combine good permeability and high dirt holding

capacity. Excellent wet strength. Made of 100% borosilicate fibers.

Compatible with a large number of inorganic and organic solution.

Physically and biologically inert. Resist temperatures of about 180°C and up to
