RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, July 2020

This year we received our second consecu� ve Gold RoSPA Health and Safety Award. This is testament to the hard work of all our staff and sub-contractors. Achieving this award demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that we work safely and go home healthy.

Dalry Primary School, Oct 2020

Dalry Primary School pupils delivered hot rolls to our team at our Wa� Court Development. They went down a treat.

Healthy Working Lives Award, August 2020

In August we received our Healthy Working Lives Silver Award. Over the last year we have been implemen� ng a number of campaigns and ac� vi� es to improve the occupa� onal health, safety and well-being of our employees.

Sco� sh Building Federa� on, June 2020

Our Commercial Director Euan Clark was recently appointed as a Director of Sco� sh Building Federa� on. This is a crucial � me for the construc� on industry, with a range of issues requiring a� en� on, and we look forward to making a posi� ve contribu� on in these discussions. Addi� onally to this he recently became a JCT council member with the Contract Legal Group.

Start the Conversa� on, Sep 2020

We par� cipated in the Start the conversa� on campaign on the 10th September. We believe breaking the s� gma surrounding mental health is a crucial step towards providing a safe & healthy environment, which can play a vital role in suicide preven� on. A number of our Project Managers also conducted toolbox talks, and discussed the importance of speaking out.

Iain Forbes, Financial DirectorIain Forbes has been promoted to the Board of Directors as Financial

Director. Iain has been with us for a rela� vely short period of � me, but has become an invaluable asset to the Company.

Anya McGeachan, Finance Clerk Anya joined our team in November 2020. She will be assis� ng our fi nancial

department and is based at our Dumfries offi ce.

Mark Stevenson, Assistant Project Manager Mark joined our project management team in November 2020. Mark

is currently based at aff ordable housing development at Lockerbie alongside Project Manager Stefan Stankiewicz.

Hazel Marcantonio, Customer Care/ Admin AssistantHazel recently joined our team in November. She will

be based in our Prestwick offi ce, and we wish her the best of luck in her new role.

Darren McIntyre, Assistant Project ManagerDarren was recently promoted to Assistant

Project Manager. Darren has been with us for a number of years star� ng as an Appren� ce Joiner, working on a variety of diff erent projects. He is currently based on our Waggon Road Project in Ayr with Mark Hendren.

Sco� Schendel, Assistant Project ManagerSco� was promoted to Assistant Project Manager in September 2020. He

has been with us a number of years, and worked on a variety of projects. he is currently based with Jim Henderson at our housing development in Kilmarnock.

We are delighted to recently announce our 2020 Appren� ce of the Year Zoe McDowell. The Ashleigh Appren� ceship of the Year Award is now in its 6th year, and allows us to recognise and celebrate our brightest talent. From the beginning of her Appren� ceship Zoe has went above and beyond to challenge herself and deliver a high standard of work. She has con� nually stepped outside of her comfort zone, which in turn has seen her confi dence soar. We are convinced her hard work, talent and commitment will ensure a bright future.

As you are aware our friend and colleague, Janet will be re� ring from the company at the end of December. Janet has been with us for nearly 10 years, it is the end of an era. We wish her all the best in this next chapter of her life.
