Asher Kohn is a writer and editor moving to California in the summer of 2014. He has spent the past five years between Missouri and Turkey when he was receiving a law degree in the former and reporting from the latter. He currently is a regional editor for Ajam Media Collective and a copyeditor for SB Nation, a Vox property. He is a regular contributor to The State, The Classical and Roads & Kingdoms, and has also written for The Los Angeles Times, Sports Illustrated, and Sports on Earth, among others. Kohn’s legal focus is on land use and disuse, and he uses his legal education and cartographical experience in his writing.
