About the courseThis two-day course is a follow-up to the Aseptic Preparation and Dispensing of Medicines (APDM) course and is ideal for senior, experienced pharmacy staff involved in aseptic preparation activities.
The course will explore the role and responsibilities of the Aseptic Unit Manager in the modern healthcare environment, address key current issues for aseptic services and equip you with the knowledge to respond to them within your own units. Current guidance will also be appraised and discussed and workshop sessions will provide tools for improvement of working practices.
The structure of the course will give you the opportunity to share practices with other delegates, and gain tips, solutions and resources to support practice back at base.
You will receive a recommended a reading list and learning objectives for each session along with course materials and resource lists to support your learning.
Who should attendThis course is specifically designed for Aseptic Unit Managers, especially Accountable Pharmacists (AcP), Authorised Pharmacists (AuP) and Senior Technicians. The course is also very relevant for Aseptic Unit Deputy Managers, those aspiring to a management role, and Senior QA/QC personnel in both licensed and unlicensed aseptic units.

Payment via purchase order and invoiceA purchase order document should accompany your booking form. Our standard terms of payment are 30 days from date of invoice, however payment must be made prior to attendance. Attendance may be refused if payment has not been received.
Changes made by the University of LeedsThe course programme may have to be re-scheduled or the speakers changed for reasons outside our control. The University of Leeds reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course, in which case fees will be refunded in full. In the event of cancellation, the University will not be held liable for delegates’ travel or accommodation expenses.
Where a delegate cancels a registrationFor cancellations made within seven days of booking: a full refund is payable unless the course starts within the next seven days, in which case the full fee is payable and no refunds will be made. For cancellations made after seven days of booking: written cancellations received up to 15 working days before the course will be subject to an administrative charge of 20% of the total fee. Within 15 working days of the course the full fee is payable and no refunds will be made. For non-attendance: the full fee is payable and no refunds will be made but copies of the course materials will be sent to the registered delegate. Substitutions may be made at any time.
