AIESEC in Taylor’s University Know more about the local committee that is organizing this project.

AIESEC in Taylor’s University was established in 2004 as one Local Committee of AIESEC in Malaysia. AIESEC Taylor’s University has been creating positive impact in society for the past 10 years. Projects related to Environment, HIV/AIDS, human

trafficking and others are milestones that we have achieved in creating a better tomorrow for our world.

How ASEAN B.E.S.T. Works

We organise 3-days leadership seminars and leadership workshops for high school students to unleash their potential through a series of soft skills development activities.

The Aim Of The Project

The project aims to transform youth mind-sets while enhancing Malaysia’s education system. Malaysia’s youth only focus on academic results without emphasizing personal development. From employers’ point of view, youth today do not possess good communication and required working skills. Command of English needs to be enhanced. We hope that dynamic characters can be shaped through this powerful project and hence, grooming tomorrow’s visionary leaders who are not only academically qualified but also competent and ready to accept challenges.

Taylor’s provides excellent services for its students in terms of diverse study options, relevant curriculum and teaching methods. We have ongoing partnerships with leading universities worldwide, strong industry linkages, up-to-date facilities and a well-equipped campus. In July 2010 Taylor’s University was rated as ‘Tier 5: Excellent’ by the Ministry of Higher Education in the 2009 Malaysian Qualifications Agency Rating System for Malaysian Higher Education Institutions which measures quality of teaching and learning at the undergraduate level in universities and university colleges in Malaysia. In 2012, the quality of teaching and learning at Taylor’s University was once again acknowledged as a ‘Tier 5: Excellent’ rating for the second time. Winning the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Gold Award for two consecutive years - 2011 and 2012, an award that demonstrates true consumer trust through an independent survey, also illustrated Taylor’s solid place in the hearts of many Malaysians. Achieving Trusted Brands status is a genuine recognition of consumers’ approval as the survey reflects consumers’ choice of their most trusted and favourite brands among the thousands available in the market. Today, Taylor’s continues to play a strong role in developing Malaysia’s human resource capital, and boasts a 70,000-strong alumnus, many of whom have become leaders in their respective fields.
