WATER LOSSES MANAGEMENT

• The basic requirement for water losses management in water supply systems is require existing coordinated network data transfer from field to any GIS software and updating of any data which one is new added to the your network.

• In this context, any objects must be GPS coordinated and have as much as possible information which is new added to your system. The effective GIS software which is supported with asset management, provides the ultimate benefit to the company and leads to the following conclusions:

• By sending accurate and clear data of network to the modeling software (we are working with WaterGems in ASAT), than appearance to the correct results and finally useful comments.

• WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

• Pipe renewal.• To entering of current and updated water network coordinated

information data to GIS software with as much information as possible.

• To creating pressure zones for optimization of water supply system and using PRVs for local optimization.

• To establishing SCADA system, remotely monitoring to production facilities and the water network with the highest possible measurement point (flow, pressure, water quality etc.)

• As a result of the creation isolated areas, follow-up and compacting loss and leakage. In this time; step tests, determination of private reservoirs and wells, estimation of seasonal "night flow limits" assessing the condition grade of the network, determination of treatments and the meter losses, adding to consumption after detecting water usage point without meters.
