Today ASE is reaching new heights everyday. The fruits of this labour areno less exci�ng. This would have not been possible without single-minded commitment from Management, teachers, parents and students.

The current pandemic has taught us a lesson ‘ Life is not easy for any of us.But what of that? We must have perseverance and above allconfidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gi�ed for something and that this thing must be a�ained.’

I am hopeful that the present issue of ‘Sanskarsetuʼ which includes various ac�vi�es done by students at the �me of pandemic and hardshipswill generate equal interest among our readers.

Documentary on Nature

Anant School of Excellence had organized various compe��ons and ac�vi�esthfor students on World Environment day 5 June 2020. The mo�ve of these

ac�vi�es is to spread the message of protec�ng our precious earth and its Environment we share.

st ndStudents of Class 1 and 2 were shown documentary on theme “ Save The Environment”. The documentary depicts the importance of saving the Nature and its surroundings.

Slogan Wri�ng Compe��on was organised, to bring out the crea�ve expression of the students and also to gauge their awareness on environment. The aim of this compe��on was not merely to see the crea�ve aspect but also to trigger the thought process of the children and sensi�ze them towards the

ASE organized an Essay Wri�ng Compe��on for the students of class IX and X on the topic ‘POLLUTION FREE AHMEDABAD’. The students come across witha variety of ideas to showcase their crea�ve skills.

Logo Making Compe��on

We gave our students an opportunity for the exposure of the ar�st hiddenin them by organizing a logo making compe��on for the students of class 3rd to 5th. The compe��on witnessed an overwhelming level of excitement, crea�vity, composi�on and skill demonstrated by the students.

On the occasion of World Environment day, ASE conducted an online quiz compe��on for the students through Mtop(the school online portal) toenhance the knowledge of the students about our environment. Total 175 students took part in this informa�ve and knowledge enriching quizcompe��on.

We also gave vent to the students for their crea�vity by giving them theopportunity to take part in the poster making compe��on on the theme CONSERVE BIO-DIVERSITY TO PRESERVE HUMANITY. Students from grade 6 to 10 par�cipated enthusias�cally in the compe��on. The students depicted an interes�ngly broad range of perspec�ves and understanding of the topic in their work.

Believing you can become successful is the most important step in actually achieving it. Success stories contribute to desire. To make this desire stronger in our present 10th class batch we invited the school toppers of 2019-20batch to share their experience with them and to strengthen their desire toachieve meritorious results like them. The interac�on was done throughdigital pla�orm in the presence of Mr. Manish Jhala, the Principal of Anant School of Excellence and the whole teaching staff of ASE.

AIASC is a unique and exclusive Interna�onal pla�orm created by SPACE for Indian students and amateur astronomers across India since 2010. The concern in searching for asteroids helps the scien�fic community that promotes the collabora�on of young students get experience in finding asteroids through campaigns related to these. Our eight students were selected for being the part of this campaign and represented Anant school of Excellence.

Refresher Training Session of TCE (Tata Class Edge)

Need of digitaliza�on of learning is the need of �me. To increase the use of visual aids in teaching we started the use of Tata Class Edge. A refresher Training Session was organised for our teaching staff to help them for be�erunderstanding of the features of TCE.

Microso� TEAMS - An Addi�on in Digitaliza�on ofLearning

Anant School of Excellence has adopted Microso� TEAMS as its new partnerin the journey of online teaching and learning. Every student has his/her own individual Id to be connected and they can be in touch with their teachers. The use of this so�ware has solved the hurdle of distance in teaching at present �me.

An online session on the occasion of Annular Solar eclipse -2020 wasconducted by SPACE Surat. A training session for the same was conducted onJune 20, 2020 and the live eclipse session was conducted on June 21,2020.Our four students joined the training session and became the part of this event.
