The Academy actively cooperates with International
Telecommunication Union (ITU) and is a member of
the ITU Development Sector since 2008.
In recent years, O.S. Popov ONAT employees made
more than 320 contributions to ITU.
Academic scientists regularly participate in the work of the research
committees of the ITU Development Sector as experts, as well as work on the
implementation of significant international projects.
Implementation of regional initiatives
Over the years our Academy has actively participated in the
implementation of Union's projects. Among the most successful results of
this work should be noted the implementation of such ambitious projects
as
Multimedia distance-learning course of safe using of the Internet
resources «Onlinesafety.info»,
System of choosing the most promising solution for building broadband
access networks «Broadbandcalculator.online»,
Series of specialized multimedia distance-learning courses on e-health
«eHealthcourses.online» and «e-Healthcourses.online» etc.

The Academy is a licensee in the field of providing fixed-line local
telephone services with network capacity of up to 1 000 numbers
with the right to maintain and operate telecommunication networks
and to provide telecommunication channels on the territory of
Odessa city and Odessa region
(АВ series № 613860 dated 22.02.2012).
The Academy is a licensee in the field of provision of services for the
maintenance and operation of telecommunication networks (АЕ series
№183724 dated 27.12.2012).
The Academy is included into the Register of operators and telecommunication
providers with serial number 1324 (resolution of NCRC №1467 dated16.04.2009).

documents (diplomas for opening, patents,
certificates of copyright for an invention)
were received, which are actively used
within the framework of carrying out self-
financing research projects.
