My  ini;al  idea  was  to  create  experimental  portrait  photos  that  had  a  vintage  aesthe;c.  I  also  wanted  the  photos  to  feel  like  they  had  a  ghostly  essence.      I  took  the  set  of  photos  in  an  old  mansion  that  s;ll  was  in  the  same  condi;on  as  it  was  many  years  ago.  I  wanted  to  create  the  effect  that  she  was  revisi;ng  the  past  and  living  the  primadonna  lifestyle.  I  then  wanted  to  seem  as  if  they  had  experienced  a  lot  through  their  life.  I  did  this  by  changing  the  seCngs  on  my  camera  and  making  the  images  blurred  by  movement.  This  gave  a  shadow  effect,  like  a  shell  of  herself.  I  wanted  the  images  to  have  a  aged  look,  so  I  printed  the  images  out  and  crumpled  them  up.  I  then  photocopied  them  a  numerous  ;mes.  This  made  the  images  lose  colour  giving  them  a  vintage  feel.  Another  way  I  aged  some  of  the  images  was  by  covering  the  images  in  coffee  and  tea  powder.  This  made  the  images  lose  satura;on  and  have  a  eerie  effect.  This  gives  a  mysterious  effect  and  almost  disguises  the  story  behind  it.  The  images  suggest  the  girl  wants  to  experience  the  life  of  a  primadonna  lifestyle  and  escape  her  life.
