AgeO The audience age that my thriller is aimed at is mainly 15-

25 as they will be able to relate easier to the protagonists of similar age.

O Between these ages there is the discovery of who your true friends are as these are the times that people start going to college or university, growing up and finding jobs…

O My production supports the stereotype that people of this age are mainly interested in having fun and ignorant to their surroundings, but challenges the stereotype that they care only about themselves as the characters will fight to keep their friends safe even if it means putting themselves in harms way.

O The ages of the characters is not clear in the thriller opening, to keep a sense of uncertainty and so that more of the audience can immediately relate to the production in some way, but the characters ages are between 17 and 18 years.

RaceO The race of my characters are at first unclear,

there may be some hints as to their race but no definite signs.

O Most of my characters have similar skin tones to add to the confusion of who the villain is.

ClassO The characters are seen as middle

class by the way they dress and hold themselves physically.

O The protagonists are represented as being more interested in talking about other peoples’ lives than actually being a part of it as they constantly observe each other.

GenderO There are three women and two men in my

production to make it unclear to the audience as to who the villain might be and to demonstrate the bond between friends.

O The gender in my production both challenges and is stereotypical.

O It challenges the stereotype that men are more dominant, braver or the villain of the production and that the women are weak and rely on others.

O It enforces the stereotype that women are the victims while the men are the protectors.
