AND CONVENTIONS OF REAL MEDIA PRODUCTS?Masthead-

•A unique name for my magazine

• Suitable, recognisable typeface

• Black, bold colour to make the title stand out.

• The font suits the genre the magazine is targeted at

Selling line- The selling line immediately connotes what this magazine is targeting.

Numbers-

•Shows the reader there is a lot in the magazine which may attract them to buy it

The Left third-

• Usually the first thing people see when buying a magazine

•“Stacey Taylor” is placed in the centre of the magazine to stand out

Main image-

• Full eye contact from the image engages the reader.

•The image also gives the readers what music it targets due to the clothes and the overall style of the model.

Introductory paragraph- This was done to introduce the artist

Headline-I included this so people would know which page the article was on

Columns- Ensuring the paragraphs were align with each other, ensured that the magazine looked more professional

Colour scheme- I stuck to 3 main colours during my double page spread.

Pull out quotes- I used these to get the readers attention, so they would read the article

Other images- these were included so there was a balance between images and text

Main image- I decided to include a main image on one side of the article to immediately grab the readers attention to the page.
