GREETINGS! THE SECOND QUARTER WAS A BUSY ONE IN ALL FACILITIES AND I WOULD LIKE TO REITERATE JON’S COMMENTS FROM Q1 - THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR DEDICATION AND HARD WORK.Because of each and every one of you, Goodridge’s future looks to be a bright one. Into Q3 we will be reviewing our 5 Year Strategic Plan. We will be publishing the plan later in the year, but so far the expected growth looks really good across all facilities.

The separation of the Performance and Motorsports teams in the US started without a glitch. Randy Graves was appointed Business Unit Director and has brought with him a renewed focus and dedication to an area of the business that has been overlooked for quite some time. Both Four-wheel and Two-wheel Performance have moved from the Torrance unit in California and are now fully operational in their new unit in Mooresville, North Carolina.

In the UK Q2 has ended on a positive note with the teams from Exeter Airport and Otter Court now working together under the same roof in the new Dart Building. An extraordinary effort was made by the UK team to deliver a seamless transition with very minimal downtime. This really shows what our team can accomplish when we plan ahead and focus on execution and teamwork. Well done to all involved!

Europe also continues to deliver a solid year; in particular I’d like to highlight the great job Germany are doing in their continued work with Skoda. It just goes to show, where we treat our customers well, they continue to come back. It’s not only about the personal relationships but also quality, delivery and cost. Well done, this is a great example for all of us to follow.

Thank you again for all your hard work.

CELSO PIERRE | CHIEF EXECUTIVE Americas

DART BUILDING OPERATIONAL

After what felt – at times – like an interminable planning process, the consolidated UK operation is now up and

running at the Dart Building. Both Exeter Airport and Otter Court have now been vacated and the teams united

under one roof. Snagging now begins for the 6000m2 of lean designed work cell space, purpose-designed office suite and

new canteen facilities for employees operated by local firm, Taste.

The Exeter team thanks all at Goodridge for your support and patience throughout the planning and move period. Special thanks to Cliff Horner,

Adrian Nield, Alex Nagy, Jack Gillard and Stuart Brigden for their commitment to overcoming the challenges of the past few months; also to the P&M, BMW

and McLaren assembly teams for their work on the transition week, which was excellent to see and a tribute to their endeavour.

We look forward to seeing Goodridge colleagues at the grand opening on Friday 8 July when Trudi Goodridge will formally open the Dart Building, we will celebrate

colleagues’ LEAD training achievements and Goodridge-sponsored BMW stunt rider, Mattie Griffin, will treat guests to an exhilarating performance.

Please register your attendance via [email protected].

CAL-POLY POMONA FORMULA SAE THE SPONSORSHIP OF STUDENT DESIGN TEAM, CAL-POLY POMONA FORMULA SAE, IS PROVING MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL FOR GOODRIDGE USA. The CPP team began work at the start of this year to create a prototype small Formula-style race car to target the non-professional weekend autocross racer. With support from Goodridge, the prototype has entered the testing phase of the competition - the student designers have competed in Nebraska in June and, in August, will compete their vehicle in Germany.

Crucially, the relationship with Formula SAE is providing grass roots engineering talent for Goodridge USA. Two interns have joined the Goodridge family with two more to follow, bringing their creative problem-solving abilities from competition to the workplace.

GOODRIDGE UK IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE

THAT IT HAS SUCCESSFULLY

ACHIEVED JLRQ STATUS

The JLRQ award is well recognised both within Jaguar Land Rover and the OE industry as a compulsory standard for continuous supply and a

quality benchmark. A large number of Goodridge staff from many different departments have been involved in the re-approval process. This achievement is

therefore testament to the level of hard work, focus and persistence of the whole team during the somewhat lengthy approval process!

JLRQ allows Goodridge to build upon its existing and established 10 year relationship with Jaguar and, in light of the F-Type ‘facelift’ planned to start its design phase in 2017,

is the first step towards new business development between both companies.

A fantastic achievement, well done all.

NEW TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR MEXICO

GOODRIDGE USA SUPPLYING TO WALKER EVANS

Goodridge Mexico has rolled out a revised and more robust assembly training program for new hire “D” operators.

The training program consists of Goodridge orientation, assembly operations and quality assurance classroom training, as well as production cell training.

This type of training motivates associates and gives them a jump start to progress into higher skill set grades.

Walker Evans Shocks are designed and manufactured to bring out the best possible performance from vehicles, using the Goodridge 600-05 hose with a compact crimped male fitting design for the remote reservoir damper hose system.

Walker Evans has over 30 years of championship off-road experience and technology which goes into each performance shock with adjustable ride control made from anodised billet material for a long and reliable service life.

MATSUDA AND QUINTARELLI DELIVERING STRONG SEASON FOR GOODRIDGE-SPONSORED NISMO GT-R Goodridge Japan sponsored team Nismo GT-R, with drivers Tsugio Matsuda and Ronnie Quintarelli, has produced two round wins in the Super GT 2016. Sadly, round 3 which should have taken place in May has been postponed to November due to an earthquake so the next round will take place 23-24 July. In addition to sponsorship, the Nismo GT-R features many Goodridge parts and will hopefully continue to deliver strong performances throughout the season.
