As a Child

George Washington Carver was born on July 12 ,1864 in Diamond Grove, Missouri.

He was a sickly child and would remain sick most of his childhood.

And eventually settled in Minneapolis, Kansas in 1874.

Then , He enrolled at Simpson College to study piano , and art ,He was their first black student.
