Course Selection and Scheduling Process (Rising 9th Grader)
Step 2Elective/Encore Class Selection• 8th Grade students can select their top 10 elective choices using
the online course selection form (Google Form) until February 1st.
Step 1Teacher Recommendations/Core Classes• 8th Grade teachers recommended students for core academic
subjects (English, Math, Social Studies, Science, World Language)• Parents/Students can view core academic subject
recommendations in Powerschool until February 1st
Course Selection and Scheduling Process (Rising 9th Grader)
Step 4Course Request Review (March 15th)• Parents/Students can view the complete course request list in
Powerschool beginning March 15th• Parents can approve the course request list or request changes
Step 3Data Input (Feb 1st-March 1st)• Counselors/Admin will review core class recommendations and
input elective choices in Powerschool
Course Selection and Scheduling Process (Rising 10th-12th Graders)
Step 2Elective Class Selection• Students can select their top 8 elective choices using the
online course selection form based on grade level (Google Form) until February 1st.
