•  An  applica6on*  installed  on  a  mobile  phone  with  a  built-‐in  camera  allows  user  to  decode  the  QrCode  which  contains  the  ID  number  of  the  artwork.

•  The  applica6on  asks  user  to  insert  a  tag  or  a  comment  to  express  his  aEtude  to  the  artwork.

•  The  tag  can  be  sent  via  GPRS,  UMTS,…  or  SMS.

2)  The  Website

•  The  tags  sent  by  users  are  collected  in  a  database;

•  A  Tag  Cloud  Visualize  instantly  new  tags  using  an  anima6on  to  no6ce  users;

•  The  more  people  sends  similar  tags  the  more  tags  become  larger  on  tag  cloud  visualiza6on.

The  experience

•  Using  Artsonomy  during  a  visit  to  art  galleries,  for  examples,  visitor  can  share  with  others  his  tags  about    artworks.

•  Every  visitor  can  see  on  the  tagcloud  what  people  think  about  artworks

•  Using  a  touchscreen  each  visitor  could  touch  tags  and  see  (for  ex.)  what  wikipedia  says  about  it.

•  This  experience  makes  people  discover  social  meanings  of  artwork.  The  meaning  that  “visitors  social  network”  gives  to  artwork.

•  It  can  be  useful  to  use  artsonomy  tagging  system  for  marke6ng    Surveys  because  people  directly  express  their  ideas.

•For  this  reason  it  can  be  interes6ng  to  test  it  out  of  the  museum:  Leaving  comments  on  commercial  products  instead  of  artworks  could  be  useful.

Not  only  users…
