ARTS AND CRAFTS 6TH OF PRIMARY

The aim of this Project is to discover new places around the world and some of the most

significant traditions and monuments of this places.

The project took place in the Arts and Crafts class where we could combine different techniques

and materials to create landscapes and items related with countries of different cultures.

The landscapes were made mainly with plasticine but also with other curious materials like

coffee.

After preparing the landscapes, children had to write postcards from the different locations:

Hawaii, London, Canada, India, China, England, Africa, Scotland… And also prepare a brochure

of the country to present to their classmates explaining the beauties and interest of this places.

One of the advantages working with a project is that we can connect subjects such as Social

Science, Natural Science, Arts and English.

El objetivo de este proyecto es descubrir nuevos lugares alrededor del mundo y algunas de las tradiciones y

monumentos más importantes de estos lugares.

El proyecto se llevó a cabo en la clase de Arts and Crafts, en la que pudimos combinar diferentes técnicas y

materiales para crear paisajes y elementos relacionados con países de diferentes culturas.

Los paisajes se hicieron principalmente con plastilina, pero también con otros materiales curiosos como el café.

Después de preparar los paisajes, los niños tuvieron que escribir postales desde los diferentes lugares: Hawaii,

Londres, Canadá, India, China, Inglaterra, África, Escocia ... Y también preparar un folleto del país / continente

para presentar a sus compañeros de clase explicando las bellezas e interés de estos lugares.

Una de las ventajas al trabajar mediante un proyecto es poder conectar diferentes asignaturas, en este caso:

Inglés, Naturales, Sociales y Plástica.
