all six art’otels provide a top-level insight into post-1945 art withmuseum-quality permanent exhibitions, with each hotel focusing on thework of one artist. from sculptures and installations by the fluxu pioneerwolf vostell and georg baselitz’s prints and etchings in berlin to theworks of a.r. penck in dresden, the spotlight is on post-war german artreflecting a divided germany and the tension between east and westup to reunification. current approaches are also represented, with thethird hotel in berlin devoted to pop art icon andy warhol, the youngkorean artist seo in cologne and an exhibition of the work of americanartist donald sultan in budapest.
