Artist Inspiration

Milky Chance is a German folk duo with reggae and electronic music influences made up of Clemens Rehbein (vocals and instruments) and Philipp Dausch (production and DJing). Both originating from Kassel, they have several singles and one album on their own imprint, Lichtdicht Records.

Their first single "Stolen Dance" was released in April 2013, peaking at No. 1 on charts in countries such as Austria, France, Belgium and many others. It also won the 1Live Krone radio awards for Best Single.

We considered the styling of these two as they are sort of infamous in their styling. Both members of milky chance (only the main is photographed) have big hair. This is what they are known for expect for their music. The big Hair, this kind of styling could be considered as it helps to gain popularity.

James Gabriel Keogh (born 1 December 1987), better known as Vance Joy, is an Australian singer-songwriter. He signed a five-album deal with Atlantic Records in 2013. He released his debut EP God Loves You When You're Dancing in March 2013. His song "Riptide" was voted number 1 on the 2013 Triple J Hottest 100. Joy released his debut studio album Dream Your Life Away on 5 September 2014 in Australia and on 9 September 2014 elsewhere. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2015 he won Best Male Artist.

He has been reviewed when considering our characters styling as he promotes himself wearing very fashionable way. In all his he is wearing similar clothes, all of which considered stylish. Especially for his genre. We shall try to emulate this on our artist.

Aiden Samuel Grimshaw (born 4 December 1991), also known simply as Aiden, is an English singer, songwriter and actor. He successfully made it to the live shows and finished ninth in the seventh series of The X Factor in 2010. After his elimination, Grimshaw was signed by RCA Records.On 3 June 2012, he released his debut single "Is This Love", which debuted at number 35 on the UK Singles Chart. His debut album Misty Eye was released on 20 August 2012 and reached number 19 on the UK Albums Chart.

We have considered his styling because of not only the way he dresses in his most famous video “virtually married” but also his cheekiness. We will use this artist as our biggest inspiration.

Daniel Francis "Dan" Croll (born 18 July 1990) is a British singer-songwriter born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England. He moved to Liverpool when he was 18 to attend the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). While at LIPA, he won the national Songwriter of the Year award from the Musicians' Benevolent Fund and was one of eight students picked to have a one-to-one with LIPA founder Sir Paul McCartney. He is currently signed to Communion Music.

We have considered this artists styling because of the way he styles not only his hair but also his clothing. He is VERY well dressed for the genre in all his photos and music video. His overall image has gained foundation through his styling. Also his mature style is used to create a certain image.
