The Scythe

• The Scythe was used as a early plow. The father would use it to make a line in the ground while the mother planted seeds behind him and the kids would stomp it down.

The Jumping Jack

The Jumping Jack was often used as a children’s toy. It was something kids really enjoyed in that time.

The Cotton Carder The Cotton Carder would separate

the cotton and then it could make cloth.

The Coffee Grinder would grind up roasted coffee

beans.
