On the previous page is a scan of an article on a British singer/song writer. This article is relevant as it contains many features in the text that could inspire my article with the artist I have booked for the double page spread of my music magazine. However this article does not have written questions followed by replies from the artist which is the structure I had planned for my DPS. The layout of the main image and text on the page also looks appealing as all text appears structured and positioned into precise sections on one page and the image of the British artist covers the second page.

The scan of a music magazine article on the previous page is another article layout my magazine could follow. A quote from the article acting as the title is the largest text spreading across both pages. This is a feature of this article I would tend to avoid as it leaves little room for the actual article. How ever the 4 structured columns appear professional and well put together. The main image of the British artist again is positioned onto the whole right side of the spread. although it does overlap to the left page, which is another property of a DPS I could influenced onto the media product I will produce.

The magazine I am producing is influenced by Q magazine and Clash magazine. As it is a classic British musical magazine with a younger generation twist. It features only britishmusicians with splashes of content from international artists. Most of the featured musicians are fresh up and coming artists based in the UK and the content of the magazine is based on the music and only the music.
