Welcome

WELCOME to an evening with Tryst Theatre in aid of the Alman’s Raise The Roof Fund.

Tonight, we're delighted to present the comedy Art by Yasmina Reza, a very popular play in which the three actors perform somewhere between the elegance of The Three

Tenors and the slapstick of The Three Stooges.

Art premiered in Paris in 1995. Since then it has been produced worldwide and translated and performed in over thirty languages. A large number of top actors have queued up to perform in it - Albert Finney, Tom Courtenay, Ken Stott,

Alan Alda, Alfred Molina, Brian Cox, Warren Mitchell, John Fortune and most recently Jack Dee, Frank Skinner and Colin

Mochrie. It was co-produced by Sir Sean Connery.

Earlier this year Tryst’s production took first place plus three

other trophies at the prestigious Felixstowe Drama Festival –for Best Acting, Best Stage Presentation and a special Adjudicator’s Award for one of the cast, Craig Murray.

The team made it a double cause for celebration when they were awarded first place at the Welwyn Drama Festival plus

an award for Director Alan Clark and the Audience Appreciation award.

There will be one interval during which there will be a raffle.

Enjoy the show.

Tryst Theatre are delighted to be sponsored by the BenRiachDistillery Company.

BenRiach’s range of sublime Speyside malts from their distillery near Elgin is charismatically complemented by their heady Highland from Huntly’s Glendronach distillery.

These two magnificent brands took no less than ten medals between them at the highly regarded 2009 International Wines and Spirits Competition, including a Gold Best In Class for the Glendronach 15 year old “Revival”.

Whether you choose to unlock the secrets of BenRiach or embark on a journey of rediscovery with Glendronach, you can be sure you will experience a taste sensation.
