• 23 siblings• Baganda people• Central Uganda• Grew up doing
farming• Also did some other
activities such as hunting, fishing, arts and crafts, etc
• Different responsibilities at home. The responsibilities are gendered

Growing up as a child in Uganda
• Until they grow up, children take care of their siblings
• Other community members also do – a child belongs to the community.
• Children create their songs, games, stories, dances, etc.
• An average family has 6 children
• Children also attend school
