Introduction The jeans bag workshop was held at varun Dhaka institute of technology on 14th October 2017 Saturday. The workshop has done at the B.Ed. hall led by faculty member of VDIT. Paper collage is a technique of an art production where the artwork is created using an assemblage of different forms and shapes using paper. These forms and shapes eventually create a whole image.

AIM1. Creativity: it makes us creative. As we use

different ideas to make different collage with use of different material like color paper glue and canvas.

2. Saving money: as in market such types of beautiful collage available at higher cost so by make same at home by own self ,it save our hard money.

3. Unhide the hidden talent: many times we don’t know our hidden talent but when we

Page 25: ART AND DRAMA IN EDUCATION-(157) · Web viewart and drama in education-(157). submitted to – ms. savita ma’am. submitted by –ms. pooja paliwal. roll no -02517402117. vd.institute

make such art works then we know the same.

4. Art teacher: as the aim of education is all round development of a child so we can’t ignore it

Material requiredTo create a paper collage you will need:

1. A board/canvas2. Paint and/or coloring pencils (optional)

3. Pencils/markers/pens4. Glue

5. Paintbrush6. Magazine Paper

7. Ruler8. Scissors (optional)

Procedure1. Ready workplace First, to create your paper collage, you need a place or something to put it on. Simply get a canvas board or even simpler, a sheet of wood.

2 .Ready image You can't create a paper collage without having something to make. Pick any picture or image

Page 26: ART AND DRAMA IN EDUCATION-(157) · Web viewart and drama in education-(157). submitted to – ms. savita ma’am. submitted by –ms. pooja paliwal. roll no -02517402117. vd.institute

that you like and base it off of that. It could be anything (an animal, nature, etc.)

3. Make grid To properly transfer your image to your canvas/board, the best method is the grid method. You draw a grid on both your image and your canvas using your ruler and pen/pencil/marker.

4.Transferring your imageNow that your grid is on both your image and canvas, it's time for you to transfer that image onto your canvas. Using your pencil, copy whatever is in a certain box on the grid of your image into the same box on the grid on your canvas. This gives the picture on the canvas an almost identical transfer from the original picture.5. Parts the image Now that your picture is now on your canvas, use paint, coloring pencils, or simply write the name the of colors in their desired areas. This makes it easier to arrange the colors with the paper later on.6. Get the paper You now need to get some paper (preferably magazine paper). Find pages out of magazines that match the colors you are using and tear them up into small pieces. (This is where the scissors are optional depending on how you want

Page 27: ART AND DRAMA IN EDUCATION-(157) · Web viewart and drama in education-(157). submitted to – ms. savita ma’am. submitted by –ms. pooja paliwal. roll no -02517402117. vd.institute

your collage to come out. The scissors may make a cleaner cut but you may prefer the rough look tearing the paper by hand provides.)7. Make canvas sticky

Using a paintbrush, lightly spread layers of glue on your canvas. This is the only way your pieces of paper will stick to your canvas.8 .Put it together When your canvas is still wet with glue place the pieces of paper in there desired places (by size and by color).9. Repeated Continue to spread glue on your canvas and place pieces of paper in their desired places (steps 7 & 8).

And my collage is ready

Conclusion After this wonderful art I feel good and happy because now it’s enhanced my creativity and give me ideas to improve it more. And secondly I came to know it easy to make the collage.

Occasion: Diwali celebration Diwali is a festival of lights symbolizing the victory of righteousness and the lifting of spiritual darkness.  The word “Deepawali” refers to rows of diyas, or clay lamps. This is one of the most popular festivals in the Hindu calendar. It is celebrated on the 15th day of Kartika, according to the Hindu calendar. This festival commemorates Lord Rama's return to his kingdom Ayodhya after completing his 14-year exile. The myths around Rama and Ravana are told during another holiday, known as Dussehra or Vijaya Dashami. The Goddess Lakshmi was Vishnu’s consort and she symbolizes wealth and prosperity. She is also worshipped on Diwali. This festival is celebrated in West Bengal as "Kali Puja", and Kali, Shiva's consort, is worshipped during Diwali. The Diwali festival in southern India often commemorates the conquering of the Asura Naraka, a king of Assam who imprisoned many people. It is believed that Krishna freed the prisoners.
