Robin van Persie has moved into the prime of his career The Dutchman enjoyed a successful World Cup in 2010 and went from strength to strength in 2011. He matched the Premier League record for goals scored between January 1 and the end of a season, netting 18 times in 19 appearances. What's more, Robin set a new mark for scoring in consecutive away matches.

Robin’s quality has never been in doubt. He is an expert goal-taker and goal-maker with a penchant for free-kicks. That description fitted another of Arsenal’s famous Dutch-men and it was no surprise when the 28-year-old took Dennis Bergkamp’s No 10 shirt when it became available last season.

Theo Walcott is an English foot-baller of Jamaican descent who plays for Arsenal and the England national team. He is a striker who is usually deployed on the right wing as a wide forward to exploit his speed.

Walcott started England’s friendly victories against Mexico and Japan in May 2010. However, on 1

June 2010, it was announced that Walcott had been left out of England’s 23-man World Cup squad by

Fabio Capello.On 4 July, a few days after England’s exit from the World Cup, Lionel Messi said that he

was shocked by Walcott’s exclusion as he believed that Walcott could have made the difference against

Germany and Algeria. In January 2011, Capello admitted that he had made a mistake in not select-

ing Walcott for the 2010 World Cup.

On 30 August 2011, English Premier League club Arsenal signed of Park. He was given the number 9 shirt. On 1 November, Chu-Young started his first UEFA Champions League match, a 0–0 draw against French outfit Marseille. He scored his first goal for Arsenal in the fourth round of the Carling Cup against Bolton Wanderers giving them a 2–1 win. He joined the South Korea national football team in June 2005. He debuted in the match against Uzbekistan and managed to score his first goal for the team.
