Letter from the Officers Arrowmen and Scouts/Scouters of Sam Houston Area Council –
We are excited you have decided to join us at Arrowman Bash 2019. This will be the
BEST Arrowman Bash Colonneh Lodge has ever hosted. Our theme this year is
“Renaissance Festival” and we have planned a fun and exciting weekend for each of you
to enjoy.
Since we took office in January 2019, we have been focused on planning and preparing
exceptional programs and events for our fellow Arrowmen. Arrowman Bash gives us
the opportunity to showcase what Colonneh Lodge and the Order of the Arrow are all
about. It also allows us the opportunity to give back to all the Troops, Ships, and Crews
of Sam Houston Area Council.
Our main service this year is to provide an exceptional First-Class Emphasis Program
for units, as well as relevant requirements for Sea Scouts and Venturers. For the “older
scouts” and “Scouters”, we will have a variety of meaningful and impactful trainings.
We have recruited some amazing Arrowmen to bring a fantastic program together and
are excited to be able to offer this service to our fellow Scouts in SHAC.
In this program guide you will find information regarding our program, logistics, and
policies for Arrowman Bash. We hope you use this guide to help make the most of your
experience. Whether you’re enjoying Sporting Arrows, Tomahawk Throwing, Jacob’s
Ladder, or playing a game of Gaga Ball or Volleyball, we are confident you will have a
great time.
We are looking forward to seeing you at Arrowman Bash 2019! See you April 26th!

Our Theme This year we are looking back on
Colonneh Lodge’s long and rich
history.
In 2015, Colonneh Lodge along
with hundreds of other lodges
around the country celebrated
the centennial anniversary of
the Order of the Arrow. We are
in a new age of service for the
Order of the Arrow and
Colonneh Lodge.
Four years ago, Lodge Chief
Brett Randall and his officers
created a four-year plan for
Colonneh Lodge to guide our
lodge into the next century. 2019
marks the capstone of that four-
year plan and a rebirth of
Colonneh Lodge into a new
Renaissance.
