COURSE OBJECTIVES The main objective of the course lies in enabling
participants to carry out the full range of tactical-
level CIMIC functions in a NATO context.
The secondary objective of the course consists in
providing basic knowledge of the international
organizations active in the operational scenario,
specifically related to tactical-level CIMIC activities.
COURSE STRUCTURE AND OUTLINE The course, held in parallel with the staff course, in
compliance with NATO standards, consists in:
- a distance-learning phase, called advanced
distributed learning (ADL) module, based on a
digital platform;
- a one-week phase, at the MNCG HQ, focusing on in-
depth doctrine learning, with special reference to
tactical-level procedures, and including
negotiation and assessment simulations;
- a one-week follow-up phase devoted to exercises,
which includes CIMIC operational activities carried
out in external environment.
The course ends with an examination, and the ranking of
candidates in order of merit.

The main objective of the course lies in enabling

The course is designed to provide students with a deeper
knowledge of the Italian language taught by qualified
SLEE teachers using English as the medium of instruction.

Course structure:
- classroom-based lessons
- individual study periods
- recourse to procedures/instruments and conduct of
practical activities for the purpose of stimulating
written and oral outputs
The course aims at improving the level of knowledge of
