FOREWORD

The Army Aviation Flight Information Digest is published weekly. Every fourth week a complete issue will be published followed by three weekly supplemental issues. The latest supplemental issue together with the last complete issue contains the latest known notices to Army aviators. It provides current and permanent flight information for Army, National Guard and Army Reserve aviation activities.

Notices of permanent and temporary hazardous conditions concerning airfield and communication facilities, special notices, flight procedures and other related Army aeronautical items are included in this Digest.

Airfield installation commanders are responsible for submitting changes in airfield conditions, facilities, services, air navigational aids and other matters affecting operations at such airfield installation by the most expeditious means, as per AR 95-14, to the agencies listed below:

Information contained in this document is based upon the most reliable sources of operational data available to this office. Every effort is made to check the accuracy and adequacy of this data prior to its release for publication. The use of this publication, however, does not preclude the necessity for preflight review of the latest NOTAMS, related flight data and directives available in each airfield operations office.

LEGEND

Abbreviations used are those published in the USAF/USN Flight Information Publication PLANNING, General Information, Section I. General information legend data listed below will be those used exclusively for this publication.

Information will be published in this Digest until reflected in the appropriate FLIP publications. Communications and NavAids data will be carried in the text until inserted in the Directory of Army airfields (published every 4th week).
