Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong will discuss the doping scandal that dramatically brought down his cycling career in an interview with Oprah Winfrey next week.
The interview will be a first for the cyclist ever since he was stripped of all his titles and banned for life by the United States Anti-Doping Agency.
The interview will air on the Oprah Winfrey Network and will also be streamed live on her website, a publicity statement said.
It is still not clear whether he will admit to doping charges on the Oprah Winfrey show.
The announcement came on the same day that "60 Minutes" said US Anti-Doping Agency chief executive Travis Tygart told them that the cyclist attempted to donate around $250,000 to the agency.
The USADA accused the cyclist of using and encouraging the use of performance enhancing drugs and submitted a massive report that included hundreds of pages of eyewitness testimony, emails, financial records, and laboratory analysis of blood samples.
